The course is interactive and based on a very simplistic planning template designed with your SMME in mind. It’s based on the steps identified in the framework above. All you need to do is fill in the blanks and review your plan once a month to know where your firm stands. It’ll guide you so you’ll have a better understanding of the environment you operate in and how you need to adapt to it.

 

1.       Know your industry -“3 forces”

2.       Know your company - Identify Strengths (Weaknesses) and Identify opportunities (Threats)

3.       Decide on the most effective / practical way your firm can do better than your competitors

4.       How you will most effectively maintain an advantage over your competitors

5.       Identify what resources (strengths) you need to continue being better than your competitors and to take advantage of opportunities in the market
